Are you ready to step up your game to the next level? Eager to challenge your friends for those much-contested bragging rights? Enter the Jug Life Climbing League at Volcanic, a climbing club geared towards friendly competition, self improvement, and most of all, FUN! In the Jug Life League, you’ll have the unique opportunity to not only improve your climbing ability, but win prizes and membership discounts as well.
The Jug Life Climbing League is a three month league, and has room for all climbing abilities; beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Routes will all be assigned a point value based on their difficulty, and successful, witnessed ascents will yield points for the climber. These totals will be recorded, and an up-to-date score sheet will be available in the gym and online. Routes can only be climbed for points once. Half-way into the league a climbing comp will be held, and another larger tournament will be held to celebrate the end of the league with big prizes awarded to the winners!
Not sure what your climbing ability is? Not to worry! Scores will be monitored carefully, and those who are climbing hard will be placed into the appropriate bracket to encourage fairness and sportsmanship.
Entry fee for the league is $40 and includes a free T-shirt. The league is three months long, so you’ll have plenty of time to rake in huge numbers.
